About Me

I’m Rhi — a photographer, filmmaker, and sometimes the one in front of the camera too.

My path into photography wasn’t a straight line. I started out exploring performance and modelling, learning what it feels like to be seen, directed, and captured. Those experiences shaped how I approach my own work now: with empathy, patience, and an understanding of what it’s like to be on both sides of the lens.

I’ve always been drawn to real moments over perfection. Whether it’s the quiet connection between two people, the energy of a live gig, or the textures of an old building in natural light, I love documenting things as they are. That’s why my style leans towards the documentary — unobtrusive, atmospheric, and emotionally honest.

Beyond the camera, I’ve worked across creative industries and in supportive roles, which taught me how to hold space for people. For me, photography isn’t just about images, it’s about trust. It’s about helping someone feel comfortable enough to let their guard down, so we can capture something true together.

I’m based in West Yorkshire, where I run a New York loft–style studio — a space for photography, film, and creativity of all kinds. Sometimes I’m behind the camera, sometimes I’m in front of it, but I always aim to bring the same values: authenticity, collaboration, and care.
